SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE ( WEEK 3) "Strengthening Connections: Growth and New Challenges"
"Strengthening Connections: Growth and New Challenges"
As the third week of school rolled around, I found myself growing more confident in my routine and making meaningful connections with those around me. With each passing day, both the academic challenges and the friendships I was forming began to shape my experience. This week marked a deeper engagement in my studies and personal growth, reminding me that school is not just about learning but also about building relationships and overcoming challenges.
Weekend: A Get Together
Sunday was nerve wracking, thinking how my family would expect for the UP exam, because I'm not well prepared for that exam. After taking the exam I felt disappointed to myself cause the questions would be easy if I studied, but there's nothing I can do about it now. Instead taking for granted that opportunity taught me a lesson, So I promised myself to do be prepare and do my best for another opportunity that would come.
Day 11:
By the start of the third week, I noticed that my daily schedule was beginning to feel more natural. The day started with nerves as we anticipated a class recitation for PR2, secretly hoping the teacher wouldn’t show up. In the elective class, I was surprised by an unannounced quiz, but I managed to score 12/15—much better than I expected.
Day 12:
I was late for the first subject in 21st Century, missing the start of an individual activity. For the second subject Intro to Philo, the classroom lack of seats, so I had to sit on the floor. In a funny (but embarrassing) moment, I pulled my seatmate’s chair and sit on it thinking she noticed while answering, but she ended up falling when she tried to sit back down the the class ended up laughing.
My group and I thought we had to present our report for the first subject HUMMSS 1, but luckily, the previous group took up the entire time, so our report was moved to Monday. We spent the second subject in Practical Research 2, brainstorming research topics, and the third subject was Personal Development, the teacher only discussed a lesson and ended it with a film assignment due on Friday. For the last subject its the elective class, I was nervous this time cause their will be quiz but i didn't study cause I kind of didn't understand the previous lesson but thankfully the teacher postponed it. After the last class before we go home we stop by the Chapel and prayed afterwards we got home.
Day 14:
The first subject involved an activity by group, while in PE, we discussed the Lapay Bantigue folk dance, which we’ll have to perform next week. The day ended on a low note with a quiz in the last subject, where I got a failing score because I was too distracted.
Day 15:
By Friday, I was ready for a break. After a long and productive week, I was late for the general cleaning of our classroom but still managed to help out waxing the floor. The second subject was fun, after the discussion we have to pass a class participation slip and line up to answer some questions for the lesson where we earned points for both correct and incorrect answers. The last subject was canceled due to the teacher’s meeting, so I went home early and I was assigned to submit the film assignment by group via Google Drive.
This week taught me that school is filled with unexpected moments, both good and bad. Whether it’s being caught off guard by a quiz, facing a challenging recitation, or even making a silly mistake with a friend, each experience holds a lesson. I realized the importance of staying adaptable, keeping a sense of humor, and learning from every situation, no matter how small.
